This book is the result of a personal experience which was born out of the confirmation of a breast cancer. The diagnosis came at the precise moment when I was ready to make a stop in my life-path and stay for a while in a symbolic cave to reflect. The severity of the plans and aims I had laid out for life had rendered me rigid, coming close to breaking me. The tumor was a reflection of that rigidity, almost representing a closed fist.

In that metaphorical cave there was a rebirth, and when I came out, new signs appeared on the path that is made as you go. Some of these signs are present on the pages of this book, that doesn’t seek to teach or serve as a model. It does intend to be a sample of reflections that help to improve inner wellbeing.

The proposal is for you to come up with your own “less is more” list.

To subtract that which has already fulfilled its mission (things, affections, places, jobs, goals and more). Let it go, lovingly surrender it for what it gave us. And then, add what a new cycle needs to develop.

Realizing the cycles that close and the new cycles brings us harmony.

What did you subtract from your completed cycles? What did you add in your new cycles?
